The following are estimated processing and delivery times. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Please understand we are a team of humans, working with human hands, and human brains. We aren't perfect.

Processing
Order processing of oysters takes place Monday - Thursday. Please allow 24hrs for processing. Orders received after 8am Eastern Standard Time will begin being processed and shipped the following business day. We do not process or ship orders Friday - Sunday.
Shipping
Carolina Gold Oyster Company offers shipping via UPS 2-Day Air, and Next-Day Air to the continental United States. If your order is received before 8 am Eastern time it can ship the day it was placed (We do not ship on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday). Our shipments cannot be in transit over the weekend, so the destination, shipping method, day, and time of check out all impact when your order will arrive. Please read the following information carefully so you know when to expect your order.
*Â PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY SHIP 2-DAY ON MONDAY-WEDNESDAY FOR DELIVERIES ON WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY.Â
UPS Shipping Schedule:
If you place your order before the 8 am cutoff time on:
- Monday -Â 2-Day Air orders ship Monday for Tuesday or Wednesday delivery, depending on your location. Next-Day Air orders ship Monday for Tuesday delivery.
- Tuesday - 2-Day Air orders ship Tuesday for Wednesday or Thursday delivery, depending on your location. Next-Day Air orders ship Tuesday for Wednesday delivery.Â
- Wednesday - 2-Day Air orders ship Wednesday for Thursday or Friday delivery, depending on your location. Next-Day Air orders ship Wednesday for Thursday delivery.Â
- Thursday - 2-Day orders will not ship until the following Monday for Wednesday delivery. Next-Day Air orders ship Thursday for Friday delivery.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 2-Day Air orders ship the following Monday for Wednesday delivery. Next-Day Air orders ship Monday for Tuesday delivery.
- Future Delivery Dates - You may also select delivery dates in the future using the same shipping guidelines listed above. Keep in mind any Tuesday delivery date will have to ship Next-Day Air as we do not ship over the weekend.
*We do not ship on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER:
Location:Â We are located in the eastern part of North Carolina. Often, your package has a long way to travel in a very short period of time. Extreme weather conditions do exist in parts of the continental US. Please be mindful of this, especially during the colder months and hurricane season, by allowing an extra day in case of delays. If your package is held up along the way due to weather conditions, neither we, nor UPS, will be held liable.
Special Events: When planning your special event, waiting until the last minute is never a good plan. Place your order early to ensure availability and we will arrange specific delivery dates. We can make suggestions for your important event based on the best selections available.
Holidays:Â We understand that the season of giving is often a busy and challenging time. Because you are selecting perishable product for your celebration or as a gift, we urge you to notify your recipient and confirm they will be home during the expected delivery time. It can still be an item of surprise, but because a signature is not required (in most cases), some people are not looking for their surprise package and will let the box sit outside for an extended amount of time, leaving the items to spoil.
We are human:Â We have as many precautions in place as possible, but human error can happen. If you experience the rare occasion of a mistake being made on your order, please reach out to us immediately, and we WILL make it right. Please give us the chance to fix any problems you may have.
*If a package can't be delivered due to an error of you the customer entering your shipping address or information when placing the order, Carolina Gold Oyster Company nor UPS are responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package and no refunds will be given.
LOCAL PICKUP:
Please allow 24hrs for pickup orders to be processed. Local pickup orders are processed Monday - Thursday and pickup is available Tuesday - Friday 10am - 4pm. Orders received after 8am will be processed the next business day. Pickup is not available Saturday - Monday.

APPAREL & ACCESSORIES:
Processing
Order processing of apparel and accessories takes place during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. please allow 1-2 days for processing. Orders received after 3pm Eastern Standard Time will be begin being processed the following business day.
Shipping
Shipping times depend on your location. If you live down the street from us in NC, you'll get it faster than if you live in Hawaii. UPS quotes, but does not guarantee, 2-8 business days for domestic delivery. If you live outside of the continental US times could obviously be longer.
If a package can't be delivered due to an error of you the customer entering your shipping address when placing the order, Carolina Gold Oyster Company is NOT responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package and no refunds will be given.
You, the customer, are responsible for all taxes and duties (including VAT) imposed by your country of residence or the country in which the package is shipped and received.
